Kent Fire Department to Perform Annual Prairie Burn

The protected prairie surrounding 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ University’s Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Monday, April 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, to allow for new growth during the summer season.

The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ University Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting â€œDeveloping and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµâ€ as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.
