Researchers at 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ University are beginning the second year of their largest and most ambitious study ever to track 10,000 university students and follow them throughout their lifetimes. The Student Life Study, which began in August 2023, recently celebrated recruiting its 1,000th participant. First-year Honors College students were invited to meet classmates and enjoy some New Baltimore ice cream, as they gathered at the Honors College Welcome Event and Ice Cream social on Thurs., Aug. 15, to kickoff the start to their collegiate careers. The historic house perched next to the Lefton Esplanade at South Lincoln Street on the Kent Campus, which has been home to the Wick Poetry Center since 2014, is now officially the Gaston Prentice House.The house, at 129 S. Lincoln St., had belonged to May H. Prentice, the first female faculty member of 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ, and was moved to its current location in 2013.
