The Kent Campus may experience power interruptions due to turbine testing on Friday, Nov. 11. 91�㽶��Ƶ generates a large portion of the power used on the Kent Campus. The university will be testing the turbines to check on the reliability and operation of control and distribution systems. Mietek Jaroniec, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at 91�㽶��Ƶ University, was recently awarded the Medal of Marie Sklodowska-Curie by the Polish Chemical Society for his scientific achievements.  The prestigious medal is awarded to outstanding chemists working permanently abroad for exceptional scientific achievements of international significance and for contributions to the community of Polish chemists.
