The purpose of this RFP is to propose and develop Flash Up events. Flash Ups are events that will target college students and will focus on increasing awareness, educating and/or otherwise fostering skills and behaviors that seek to strengthen and support the mental wellness of college students. The protected prairie surrounding 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ University’s Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Monday, April 23, at approximately 9 a.m. to allow for new growth during the summer season. The city of Kent Fire Department will conduct the controlled burning of the prairie, which has been a yearly practice since 2004. The prairie burn on April 23 is dependent on the weather and the Kent Fire Department not being called to an emergency.
