It may come as no surprise that the entertainment industry has been devastated by the pandemic. Tours large and small PLUS the thousands of individuals who work behind the scenes (stage crew, truck drivers, caterers, equipment rental companies, etc.) have been sidelined. Edwin Duckworth, a physics doctoral student in the College of Arts and Sciences at 91�㽶��Ƶ University, is among 65 students from 29 states recently selected for funding by the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program. 91�㽶��Ƶ University will host the kickoff event for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read Northeast Ohio, a community reading program celebrating “An American Sunrise” by Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, the first Native American poet laureate of the United States.
