Kayaking and Tubing with Adventure Center

  • The Adventure Center will be offering free kayak lessons and river tubing at Tannery Park (near the Farmer鈥檚 Market). 
  • Learn kayaking skills or take a leisurely float down the historic and beautiful Cuyahoga River on an inflatable tube.  
  • Friendly Adventure Center staff will be there to assist you.

CARES Center Welcome to Campus Coffee Bar

  • CARES Center Welcome to Campus Coffee Bar will provide iced coffee and beverages to welcome students to campus.  
  • The Center for Student Involvement will also provide breakfast snacks. Check this out on your way to or from the Commuter Student Check-in! 
  • This event will take place from 7:30-9 a.m. at the CARES Center/HUB, on the first floor of the Kent Student Center (room 106).

Phishing via Text Messages

Phishing campaigns using text messaging have recently been on the uptick. Users receive a text message supposedly from a supervisor or someone known and trusted.  Typically, these come from unknown phone numbers.

One way to protect yourself is to not respond to the message unless you know that the message is authentic.
