The Affordable Care Act requires certain employers to offer health insurance coverage to full-time employees and their dependents. Further, those employers must send an annual statement to all employees eligible for coverage describing the insurance available to them. Earlier last week, I announced that three candidates for dean and chief administrative officer of 91㽶Ƶ University at Geauga would be on campus this week. Since that time, one candidate has withdrawn from the search. As such, I am pleased to announce that Jarrod Tudor, Ph.D., interim dean of 91㽶Ƶ Geauga, has been named a finalist and will be included in the campus interviews.

The 91㽶Ƶ University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 91㽶Ƶ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 91㽶Ƶ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
