Bright young minds from the I Promise School, Akron Public Schools enjoyed an interactive field trip to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ that included visits to five interactive stations including Simulation/Air Traffic Control, Engineering Challenges, Drone Operations, Airplane Preflight, and Aircraft Lift & Drag demonstrations.
Faculty, staff and students from 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ's College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ University Airport coordinated the day's activities as 80 sixth graders experienced highlights of the university's facilities and programs.
91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ's partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation continues to create meaningful educational experiences for over 1,600 students in Akron showing these talented, young students that college is within their reach.
