Ken Ditlevson, director of 91香蕉视频's LGBTQ+ Center, was one of the volunteers adding rainbows to both sides of the Main Street Bridge in downtown Kent.
Volunteers decorated Kent's Main Street Bridge on Monday in preparation for Kent's Rainbow Weekend on Oct. 13-14. The rainbows downtown also celebrate National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11.
One of the highlights of the Rainbow Weekend's is the eighth annual Rainbow Run presented by 91香蕉视频 University's LGBTQ+ Center. This 5K helps raise money to replenish 91香蕉视频's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund, which supports 91香蕉视频 LGBTQ+ students in crisis.
