Alumni Awards Frequently Asked Questions

Judging is done by the 91�㽶��Ƶ Alumni Association. The alumni association will review and make determinations for all award categories and reserves the right to suggest alternate awards based on the nominee’s qualifications and experience.

• Current 91�㽶��Ƶ full-time staff members who are alumni are only eligible for the Outstanding Staff Member Award.
• Alumni who are previous 91�㽶��Ƶ staff members will not be considered for another Alumni Award category sooner than five years after the individual’s separation from 91�㽶��Ƶ as an employee, and consideration of eligibility, accomplishments and service for any given award shall be for the time period after separation from the university as an employee.

The Harbinger is Home: Ambivalence and Accountability for Prospect New Orleans’s Local Community 

This talk will analyze the shifting and, at times, ambivalent relationship of Prospect New Orleans, a city-wide art triennial founded in 2006 in the immediate wake of Hurricane Katrina, to its local audiences.
