Dear 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ University Students,
Soon all our classes will be fully remote for the remainder of fall semester. This move was always our plan for this semester to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of all our students.
We understand that remote learning has posed challenges for some, and we hope that you have found 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ solutions available to help you with online learning and computer issues.
To gain deeper understanding of what technological difficulties students have faced due to the shift to online and remote learning, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, with support from the National Governors Association and the Management Council, is conducting a survey to learn more about challenges to both broadband internet access and devices.
The results of this survey will be used to build a map of broadband and technology access for college students in Ohio, to see where improvements are needed and to help the Ohio Department of Higher Education develop programs and policies to support student success through the pandemic and beyond.
This survey is being given to all students at all state universities in Ohio, and I strongly urge you to participate so that the experience of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ students is well represented. Here is the for 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ students. Please take the survey by Dec. 18.
This survey offers a great way for the state to find out where the gaps are when it comes to students’ access to the internet and technological devices. Getting connected to reliable internet and having the right laptop or other device for accessing work are tremendously important for successfully completing your courses.
We all know how important it is to get connected and stay connected, so please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. The results can help us all, particularly those who have struggled with access issues over the past months. Taking this survey is just a small way that Flashes Take Care of Flashes!
