We're seeking a visionary leader to serve as the inaugural Director of our newly established School of Engineering.

This is a unique opportunity to advance our established programs and drive strategic growth in a dynamic new structure.

The Opportunity

  • Full-time, 12-month tenured Professor position.
  • Renewable 5-year administrative appointment.
  • Lead enrollment growth and academic excellence across diverse engineering and engineering technology programs.
  • Build strategic partnerships with global industry, alumni, and international collaborators.
  • Expand research capacity and graduate programs in cybersecurity, digital engineering, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in engineering or a closely related field.
  • Record of excellence in scholarship and funded research, teaching, and service that merits appointment as a tenured professor at an R1 institution.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative and welcoming academic environment that encourages diversity of thought and constructive dialogue.
  • Evidence of strategic vision, teambuilding skills, and the ability to foster a supportive academic culture.

Preferred Start Date: January 2026
